Nubby

This is my only leo, Nubby. His age and background are unknown, but prior to living to me he was a classroom pet, then my sisters gecko, and right now he's living with me. He lost his tail (thus the name Nubby) and is blind in one eye. He's had a rough life, and even my sister didn't have the right setup for him (too dry), but I'm happy to say he's doing really well and is fattening up.

My sister and I have always wondered about his pattern (mostly normal, but the dark lines of spots on the back seem odd). He's not a breeder, so it doesn't really matter, but is there a name for his pattern?

Thanks I agree, he's pretty cute. I'm not really into leos, but his attitude, will-to-live, and adorable face have really grown on me.

I love his weird back-spots, but looking through these threads and seeing how variable normals are, I think he's normal.

I think I'm pretty safe at just one. Unless a rescue turns up needing a home, I don't see myself getting another. There are some very pretty ones, but I already have my own addictions; I have over 30 blue tongue skinks, and I'm getting into fat tail geckos now (leos are cute, but fatties have the best personalities <3). Oh god, I hope I don't get addicted to leos. Too many morphs. I need to get off this forum, the photos are killing me...

wow thats a lot of skinks! I think skinks are a bit stinky for me lolz, i do like fat tails though.
I also have a crested geckos and Tropiocolotes steudneri. they are so small and adorable. i just love watching them
