Number of geckos in this tank

I have a 40 gal long tank and was wondering how many female leopard geckos could fit in there.
I'm guesesing about four maybe and that any more would be pushing it right...?

I have a 40gal and only have one male and 2 females lol but at one time I did have four leos in there I think that is fair.

you can place 1 leo to ten gallons of floor space but you must consider the fact if you have 4 geckos you need 4 cool hides 4 warm hides and then 4 humid hides

i diagree i have 2 in the same tank (1 female and 1 male) and as long as u move stuff around so the dont get territorial then u dont need that may hides

Im with mellow man, I would say 2 of each would surfice, no need to have 4 of each, but do give adamant space. But you could just about fit 4 geckos comfortably in a 40 gal.

I would say you can have atleast 5.

I have 5 in a 40 breeder, with 2 humid hides and 3 others so far no problems.
