NY Worms vs Reptilefood

Hey guys,

I am usually a big supporter of Reptilefood.com, however their shipping has really started to get to me! I can't afford it! Lol So, i am giving NY worms a try. I will keep you all posted. Now i Usually order 5k mealies at a time through reptile food, I am only ordering 1k through this place. In case it's not all that great i'm not stuck with a BUNCH of dead mealies.

anyone else have experiance with NY worms?

We have used New york Worms in the past and they were great. If I am not mistaken the best part about the mealworm orders is that they came in bags not big boxes with egg crates. It makes them much easier to take out. We order in the 20,000 and never have had a problem.

I use NY worms now and have not had any problems, Rita always responds to my emails fast (even on weekends and holidays).

Desire', I've been ordering from NY since March (I think). I usually get at least 10K+ weekly from them and I've NEVER had a problem. Once in a while they don't show up the day I expect them, and occasionally I have to pick them up at the PO, but otherwise I can't complain. They do ship their mealworms (and supers, for that matter) in cloth bags w/ crumpled newspaper. My advice for when you're unpacking them is to dump the order into a 66qt. Sterilite tub (or similar) and just shake the newspaper out in the tub. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Sunshine Mealworms does the same thing with their shipping. I've noticed that between the eggcrates and the cloth bag/newspaper you tend to get healthier looking mealies. Maybe I'm just seeing things, but aside from being very handy for getting them into the tub, the bags just seem to work well in keeping them alive. *shrugs*

Well I am at ease that there are people using them! I may also get crickets (bearded dragons) and waxies (treat) then next time around Thanks guys! I will still let cha know!
