Is there any possibility of over feeding with my gecko? Her tail is really fat! I know she is healthy, and is a very good eater, but is it possible for her tail to be too fat?
It is good for females to look that way. Especially for breeding. I have never seen a gecko that was too fat. Maybe someone with more experience than I will tell you different but as far as I know it is good to have a fat tail.
Leopard Geckos can and do get too fat. If they look like Jabba the Hut or a pixie frog, they are too fat! LOL! (I've seen some like that, and it's very unhealthy). Keep in mind that this time of year is when we want our girls to have a good fat reserve for when breeding season starts in another 8 weeks or so.
