I just looked into my skink tank...and there are...baby crickets..O_O

I guess the female cricket I put in there a few weeks went to town in his soil...

Well I guess the skink will now have an unlimited supply of food...O_O

Once they get big enough for me to catch I'll put them in their own critter keeper haha.

Maybe this could work...

I just fed him, waited until he was buried again and put 1 large female, probably able to lay eggs, and 4 other females who will be able to lay eggs after a few molts..

mwahahahahahaha

lol nice. i guess the skink has/will become a VERY fat, healthy animal with an unlimited supply of food that he doesn't know is "growing" in his own house :main_rolleyes: lolz :p

Yeah, I doubt he could even see the baby crickets there so small..

I bet he'll catch on...and one day I'll come back and he'll be on his back stuffed to the brim because he just gorged haha.

Same thing has happened in my boyfriend's Tokay tank. They're EVERYWHERE. We're actually just going to dump it all. It's so gross. :x

keep an eye out, I had that happen in the tank of my rose hair and the baby crickets ate her foot, although I haven't heard of this happening to reptiles it doesn't hurt to be cautious.

I put some grains and lettuce in there.

And my skink is always underground.
