one egg at a time

is it common for a female to lay one egg at a time? the last three times she has laid eggs there has only been one. they have been huge too. the first time she laid there was two. any help?

It happens. It's not the most common occurrence, obviously. Are they fertile and is she otherwise in good health? Those are my primary concerns.
