Today we woke up to a single egg under the medium temp hide (we have 3 staged at different temps). Is it normal for these girls to lay one at a time? How long until the second comes, she obviously still has one in her. Our incubator doesn't come until Friday, we picked up the egg and put it in a tupperware with moist vermiculite and stuck it back on the medium temp area where she laid the egg until we get the incubator, is this ok?

This is my first year breeding, but so far both of my girls have always laid both eggs at a time. However I have read that they may lay one then lay the second one later - I am not sure how long is too long though for her to wait. I have been told soaking her in warm water will stimulate her lay (I was told to put them in a Tupperware with a enough warm water to reach their belly) so you may try that.

As for the egg, just keep it humid and warm and you should be okay until Friday. I just hatched out a baby and I was incubating the eggs in a Tupperware wrapped in beach towels and kept in a warm room. You can check out my thread here - http://geckoforums.net/showthread.php?t=77284
