can i ask why do my female lay only 1 infertile egg? does that mean the male didnt mate her? what seems to be the problem? this is the third time she laid an infertile egg.. she laid last night a water balloon like egg that is kinda half filled. the second one was kinda firm but still infertile when i candled it. i got the weight of my female and shes only 31g and her age is about 1 year plus already. i dont have any moist box in the enclosure. i bought my female and my male when they where juveniles. about 8 months ago and they have been sharing the same enclosure till now.

A few things that I see you need to change.

1. Best for females to be about 1 year old and 50+ grams, they bounce back much better and babies tend to be healthier. I wait till they are 55-60 grams.

2. Housing leos that are not ready to breed together, not such a good idea.

3. When housing breeding groups it's best to have a 1.3 group, in a 1.1 group the lone female will be so stressed from the males advances that she can become sick and die.

Seperate them and let the female grow some more then only put them male in with her to breed a day or two at a time, not full time.
