So heres the scoop... My gecko Alya has laid eggs for the first time and she laid two of them and it seems to me that the one egg is starting to mold and the other isn`t they are in the same container about one inch away from each other in vermiculite at 81 fahrenheit, they both look like they are fertile (the one for sure is) but i`m just not sure if the other is for sure it has a bit of a pink color to it when I candle it. So I`m just wondering if this has happened to anyone else and if so what were the results?

put a little Listerine on a q-tip and rub it on the moldy egg. if you can get all the mold off, and the egg is fertile keep it incubating. I suspect that the moldy egg maybe infertile though. Keep an eye on it, and don't be afraid to toss it out if it does not improve.
