One of our first 5 hatchlings of this year so far...

This is one of our leopard geckos that we hatched this year :D
we're keeping him & a Snow Enigma for ourselves.

Hopefully this weekend we may have a few more eggs hatching & some more little leos for us to admire.

We're expecting anything from Enigmas, Snow Enigmas, Snows, Super Mack Snows, Tremper Mack Snows, Tremper Super Mack Snows, Mack x TUG Snows, Hypos, Super Hypos, Hypo Enigmas, Sunglows, Bell Albinos, Bell Enigmas, RAPTORS, APTORS, Normals/Hi Yellows & possibly some surprises too :D

We've been lucky enough to produce 3 Enigmas this year; a Hypo Enigma, Mack Snow Enigma & what looks to be a Hypo Enigma..of some kind?

This is the reason for me making this thread really. Would anyone be able to tell us what type/morph of Leopard Gecko we have produced & whether the orange band across the nose & white nose tip means it is visually expressing a particular trait?

We were just curious TBH & these photos have been posted on another forum from when we hatched this Leo out. We were told *Hypo Enigma* or *Tremper Albino Hypo Enigma*

Here's a few photos I took of Mango a few days ago - he is super bright! Thanks for reading.

(I thought I better add that if the photos/colours looked bright &/or saturated it's because I 'enhanced' the photos to look how the Leopard Gecko really looks in the flesh...on my monitor screen...the colours just don't seem to come out well in photos.)

I'm no expert, but by the looks of that little 'bump' where the body and tail meet in the last picture, you may have a male.

Thanks for the reply/confirmation :main_thumbsup:

That's great!

Nice Tremper Enigma!

Thanks too!

seems like we have a T_Albino Enigma... I wouldn't have expected so much orange though :shocked2:

Yeah that's what we thought as well, it looks quite clear from the photo :main_yes:

Does anyone know if it's 'common' for T_Albino Enigmas to have the orange band across the nose?

...it reminded me of the Bandit Leopard Geckos.

Thanks ;)

We guess from the tail having no black pigment 'melanin', that this would be the reason for it being T_Albino Enigma... but if it were expressing Hypo too - what would indicate this visually?
Would the eyes be slightly different in colour?
Would the overall colour be completely different?

Sorry if this is in the wrong section to be asking these questions... We were a bit unsure of where to post :main_huh: :main_laugh:

Very nice tremper enigma and that sure is Leon's post ;)

Awww... it's so pretty!:main_yes:

That's why it's my favourite lol

When it hatched out & began to grow in the first few weeks it had lavender/pink blotches. They have completely disappeared now though.

My OHs favourite is Dale :D

He is our Mack Snow Enigma & gradually the yellow pigment has increased.

Here's a few photos of Dale...
