Meet Hagashi. She is a pictus gecko, and has MBD. She had symptoms when we obtained her so we worked with our local herp vet to get her on a regimen to stop the progression.

I thought I would share some pictures of her so people can see what some of the earlier symptoms look like. She is doing quite well now, and will probably spend her entire life with us as she will always need a bit of extra attention.

In the first picture you can see her bent right front leg, and in the second picture you can see a small lump on her rear left foot.

If you have an animal that has any issues similar to these pictures PLEASE contact a herp vet. Only you and your vet can determine the best method of treatment to slow the progression and give your animal a better life.
