Do you have one or two incubators? One for male and one for female? Or do you just incubate for mixed sexes and then sex when they hatch? I am asking this because we will only have one NS incubator until we get some more fundage. lol. So, how does that work?

Ok, so how would it work out for us to use only one incubator to start with? Do we just incubate for mixed sexes?

The thing that sucks is that we will have to keep it at one constant temp, so it's not like we can raise the temps with our albino females to make them brighter....

If the eggs get hatched in like the span of a 2 months.. you could temp for females for the first 4 weeks and than crank it up to 90 than the ones you put in first would most likely be female and the rest male. Just a thought cause really I dunno :D

You could use your NS for female then buy a hovabator to incubate for male. I think they are under 50 at LLLReptile. Thats just an idea.

i agree with greg...use the ns for female since thats probably what you'll be temping for most and then use a hova or some kind of homemade bator for the males.

I did the NSR - hovabator thing this past season. It worked but you might be disappointed. I didn't lose too many eggs with the hovabator but I lost zero clutches with the NSR. I ended up incubating more eggs male then I wanted to due to lost clutches. This year its two NSR's!
