It seems like a have a few geckos that will only eat moving meal worms. When I put them in the dish the ones that are walking around get eaten right away. The ones that don't seem to just sit there. As my worms cycle they get less active as they move toward pupae. When that happens a lot of when I put in the tank goes uneaten. Will the geckos eventually eat them or not? What do you guys think?

If they are hungry enough they might but Leopard Geckos have more of a reaction to moving food then still. If the worms stay extremely still they might start to pupate depending on the kind so switch them out regularly.

I switch them out each day regardless. I guess I will just try and pick the most lively ones and put a few more in than normal to make sure they get some that move.

I raise my own colony so I want them to pupate. In waiting to have enough to be able to set aside some for feeders. For now I just take out of the colony.

I thought mealies wouldn't pupate if they were constantly fed? Or is that supers... wait I think it's supers... anywho.... maybe if you put a piece of food in the dish with the mealies it would make them more active. Just make sure whatever you put for mealie food is bigger than your leo could accidentally eat grabbing a mealie.
