I have a male eclipse het nothing (I've gotten thirty hatchlings from him bred to trempers and none came out albino) and I've bred him to a female eclipse 50% het raptor, I was wondering which would be a better label:

Eclipse 25% het Raptor OR
Eclipse poss. het Raptor

Just wondering what everyone thought?

I would go with just possible. If anyone has any questions on it you can tell them the pairing. 25% can be misleading, because no parent was a proven het.

none are going to come out albino unless both parents are at least het albino. albino is a simple ressive trait it will not reproduce itself if only one of the parent geckos are albino or het albino. it takes both parents haveing the albino gene in them for albinos to be produced.

I'm quite familiar with genetics, that was not my original question. Reread my original post, the male was bred to multiple tremper albinos as I bought him as a 50% het raptor in order to prove weather or not he was in fact het or not . So far he has not produced any albinos from ALBINO breedings, which leads me to believe that he is not het for raptor.

Thanks, I'll probably just do that and follow up with anyone who wants to know the parents genetics.

No worries, I wasn't very clear and after reading my post I saw that I wasn't as clear and where I may have been unclear. :D
