This is Momo (his name is turned into NoNo quite often around here!). He's about 7 months old, and just got neutered, poor guy lol. He's the best thing that could have happened to our dogs...he loves them to pieces and vice versa.

Some really recent ones...

And some a couple months old. He loooves his sleeping buddy Kaos. Kaos' expression in the second picture made me die laughing!

Momo is a beauty!!!!! I have three orange guys myself, 1.2, no long hairs though!

We originally didn't set out to get a long hair (you can imagine the amount of hair just the rottens put out) but when we found him he was too perfect and we couldn't say no :)

How could you say no to that cutie?! :) I have owned long hairs in the past and I am convinced that has nothing to do with shedding. The short hairs almost seem to put out more fur! ;)

Lol there was no way...here's a pic of him when we first got him home at 6 weeks...ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE to say no to!

And his favorite thing to do...sit on the edge of the TV tray and watch Rachael Ray...

That should say "2.1," on the orange guys, I goofed! ;)

I did know, asking folks and vets I know - how I got Cheyenne was interesting too. She was a "pet of the week" in our local paper that I read two weeks after getting back from a trip. I thought no way she would still be available! She was, so off I went to meet her. Apparently she was found wandering through a nearby town in our county, a rough urban community! After meeting her I could not begin to imagine how a sweet, affectionate and beautiful girl like her would be abandoned! She even wanted to play in the little "check the cat out" room they had there.

So, three years later here she is, purring away, deeply entrenched in our hearts! She is the ambassador of Gecko Ranch, greeting everyone that visits. She sticks near home when she is outside, and is an excellent huntress. I'm going to have to post up some more pix of her, she is in this thread although you can just see her belly! :)

Sorry guys. My photobucket account was hacked, and all pictures lost. I got them re-uploaded, so here are a bunch of the little furball :)

Those are the cutest pics ever!! :smitten: We just LOVE orange cats :sweetheart:

There is just SOMETHING about orange tabbies. They honestly have the best temperament, I don't know why. We got this little one on a whim, I found him on craigslist but they didn't have a picture. I was at work so begged the husband to drive 3 hours to go get him (just had a feeling). He gets back and plops this little furball into my lap at work and says "you better hope he's worth it!" lol. Come to find out, he grew up around TONS of dogs and was more comfortable around them than other cats :) PERFECT for us! And the dogs think he's their baby...always cleaning on him and vice versa, lil Momo cleaning their ears and faces. It's too cute :main_yes:

Oh my your kitty is awesome and gorgeous!! I too love orange tabbies!! I'm so glad that other people out there know and understand what it is to have them. We have 2 male orange tabbys, and Devon, my main squeeze, I think may be my other half. Hubby gets jealous of him! ANd Leapinlizards you are right, there is just something different about them then the others. They are just wonderful. I actually have an orange female as well, she's 14 but remains at my father's. She is much duller in color than these boys, but she's a she and an orange lady at that. So I feel very fortunate that I picked her out at 12 yrs old.
