Yea, I got bit.... the upper part of my index finger on my right hand. Eval shed last night and is notoriously bad at it, so i noticed some stuck by his ummm *stuff* and was trying to get it off in the sink. apparantly he didn't like it very much because he tried to take a chunk outta me. needless to say he didn't succeed, just some teeth marks, some torn up skin and blood , it wouldn't have been even that bad had he not barrel rolled (i swear he thinks he is a freaking dinosaur). anyway i called him a few choice names and told hime that he better not acquire a taste for human flesh because if he keeps it up Eliza is gonna get a vacation home :main_lipsrsealed: kidding. i did yell though (it scared me!) and he spent all day in his hide. i think he is sorry.

i did move his girlfriend for a day, i thought that she might be making him aggressive.
it hurts like a mother tho huh?

hahaha...he isn't even with a female!!! he acts like a crotchety old man...
i think it scared me more than anything though....i sprayed some antibacterial stuff on it aftwerwards and that hurt more than the bite :main_huh:

Aww I'm sorry. I've always been scared to get bitten haha. One of my old leos bit me just a tad and it scared me more then hurt

yea, i dropped him. i was standing over the sink (w. a towel in the bottom) so he only fell about 8 inches or less. he landed fine and stood there staring at me licking his lips he certainly lives up to his name :main_evilgrin:

It does hurt. Sometimes, you are nervous about handling that animal for a few days, but of the hundreds of times I have handled leos, I have only been bit about 4.

Rocks actually bit me many times last night. I had just got his dinner ready and forgot to wash my hands. Well he must have thought I was a giant meal worm. He bit me some 7 times. It doesn't hurt so I just left my hand where it was but after about the 5th time I had had enough and told him to stop. He ran into his hide like I had scalded him but he comes out licking his little chops. He bit me two more times before I gave up.

The first time I put my hand in the tank Leonidas tried to bite, scared the hell out of me. As a result I was always cautious with him. But I've had both bite while giving them calcium (for some reason they love just licking it off my hand... not eatting it out of the bowl) and got nipped a few times. First time it startled me, but after the second or third time I realized they weren't able to do any damage. (they're both pretty small yet.)
