We picked up a 2.1 cat geckos yesterday!
They're our first so we're all excited. They're all F1 so captive bred and all unrelated :) the female is breeding weight but not planning on breeding them yet.
The female ran off once placed in her viv so don't have a picture of her yet.
But here are the males:

#1 is very green/yellow with orange/red markings and sides. Very cool! pic isn't too good but you can see the colors a bit (sorry pic was taken in the transportation box therefore you can see some paper towels)

and male #2 was sleeping all the way back (3 hour drive) and is still sleeping lol, he's the cutest:

we hope you like them, we're in love with them :smitten:

yeah that's what we waited for as well. The risk are reduced so much with CB's
After having them for one day I can totally recommend them I can watch them for hours :)

Here are some pics of the female I just made, she looks like she's about to shed so not the best pics:

They are pretty and very cool. I held some wc's a couple weeks back and we found eggs in the tank. The male liked walking around and roaming every where and the female was more into just staying in one place in my hand.

thanks :)
They all need to be housed seperately can't be kept in pairs or more since eventuall all but one will die, reall weird but several people had this happen to them who kept 1.1 together.
The female and 1 male are in seperate vivs and the 2nd male which is the smallest is in a large faunarium. (will post pics of the vivs tomorrow)

Top nice geckos you have there!

But have you talked to Marcus Quesada about that claim? He is a foremost expert on A. felinus stateside and is responsible for some of the WC and CB stock overseas. I'd be interested to see if this phenomenon has some backing?

thanks everyone :)

I've read lots of posts on forums, also written by him.
He doesn't day it isn't true and I believe he thinks it is.
But also read that he is working on keeping pairs together and finding out what the best way is I thought.
(don't quote me on all of this I'll see if I can find his post)
