It's only been here a few hours and I am TOTALLY in love with this little one!!! :smitten:

I needed to add substrate since this seems to be were it likes to hang out. (Or up?)

Got her/him coaxed out of the lid, back into the enclosure and it crawled right back up again!

I just can't believe how tiny it is! And not skittish at all (so far).

She is SO awesome. I just know she is going to be my pride and joy.
Honestly, though, thank you for providing input and info on this species. I am totally head over heals for her!! (Or him?)

I'm glad you're so happy with her! :main_yes: I think they're hands down my favorite species of theraphosid. Unfortunately, they remain very under-rated.

I love that little baby!!! Man, I wish I wasn't so allergic to bug bites. BF will not allow them in the house at all. *sigh* Guess I'm just going to have to live vicariously through you.

Oooohhhh...Congrats on the Chaco! I just took mine in to show my students...they were fascinated by her. She is still quite small (just a tad bigger than yours) and she is so gentle and beautiful. I am only assuming it is a "she" because she is growing soooooo sloooooooowly. They truly are a great species and I am so glad you went ahead and treated yourself.

BTW, I have been meaning to post pics but am waiting until Xmas...hopefully, someone will get me a new camera!

I am just in awe with this new baby. I'm SO glad glad hubby got her for me (and didn't know he did until the box got here).
