So, it turns out our new male got loose last night and is running around the house. We have two lizard eating cats and a dog...:( We have put out hides and food and water. Wish us luck with finding him. We have a three level house. :main_thumbsdown: This is no fun....

So, this beautiful guy is running around our house. :main_angry:

Yikes, trap it on the same level in the house where it was last seen and keep those animals off that level.

So Maloria lucky you. Is that beautiful guy running around the house nakid? lmao sorry had to throw some humor out there. I hope he comes out of hiding soon. I am glad my cats can be trusted with my reptiles now. It took me 5 months of training and the cats will watch me clean, mist and feed the geckos. I have one cat Tommy who will follow me like a puppy and when I sit next to the gecko tanks, he will jump on my lap watch the geckos and then curl up and go to sleep on me.

Yea your cat is fooling you, as soon as you are not around and a leo is loose its playtime, and feeding time for that Kitty! Cats are not to be trusted, they are sly and sneaky:main_evilgrin:

But i hope you find the Gecko, best of luck to you guys!!!!!

I can see your cat laughing at you now. "Foolish human, will you never learn?!?!?"

I'm a cat lover, but you've got to respect their Nature.

Best wishes for your leo to come out of hiding tonight!!!

My cats have learned not too mess with lizards. We have aligator and western fence lizards here. They caught some aligator lizards and got bit. Well after having bloody paws 2 times they got the ideal and leave them alone lmao.

I hope you found your escapee now.

One of my crested geckos got loose one night and it was a baby that could hide in just about anything. I thought for sure I'd never find the little guy. I waited until night when they are active and I found the little guy sitting on the leaf of a pothos plant not but 2 feet away from his habitat. I guess he was thirsty and hungry because he crawled right back into my hand to go back home :). I have to admit I was very lucky.

Check at night time when he is most active. That will probably be the best time to see him out and about. I hope you find him!

You will usually find them when you are not looking for them! Like everyone said, you will catch them at tnight when you turn on a light and see them out of the corner of your eye.

I had a little RAPTOR missing for about 6 weeks, and I found my dog with a severed tail so I though she had been eaten. I actually found her while looking for a second escapee! They were both together behind one of the racks.

I found him awhile ago. I was just hiding him from Matt after I found him for Christmas. I know....I'm evil. lol. But we really did lose him. But, he's all ok. I found him all curled up in one of the hides we put out.
