So when we first got our leo, she was obviously gun shy and did not want much to do with us. many of you will remember our many instances where we couldnt get her to get used to being handled. well now she loves to be handled so much that she only wants to be held. whenever i put food in her tank, she wants to crawl right onto our hands and from that point on, only stares up at us and wants nothing to do with the roaches/crickets/mealworms/phoenix worms. she will of course, go for a waxworm but i refuse to feed those but on the rare.
has anyone else had this issue? i mean we handle her a few times a day because she clearly needs her fix lol.. but she is just so energetic because she gets deep sleep and feels very comfortable in her setup. If anyone has any advice i'd appreciate it.
We thought to put her in another tank to feed her with out any hides or distractions but the fact that we pick her up to do that seems to be the problem from the get go. she just seems so distracted from eating constantly... please help.
she went from eating a good 7 or 8 of whatever her diet called for that day and now shes going to about a couple of insects about every other day. i know they dont eat nearly as much after a certain age but i didnt think it was this drastic of a decrease. shes about 7 months and is 50 grams which she has been for 3 weeks. this is the heaviest she has been so i know shes still healthy.
