This is Quasi, we rescued her off of craigslist.org. She is blind from improperly shedding and has MBD in her spine. We are working hard to get her into better shape

This is Lucy she was also rescued from the same person. She is also blind from improperly shedding

your going to get eaten alive for having them on that substrate. You should have them on a solid substrate (paper towels, tile, carpet).

Good Luck

substrate

They have been on there for a few months and they are all doing fine. I've seen them eat and if its about eating it, none of them have ingested any even when eating crickets. If there is another reason that, that particular substrate would harm them please let me know because according to the packaging the substrate came in, it is good for leopards. I had them on carpet for a year but it got too hard to clean and too expensive to keep changing.

There are very strict rules and regulations regarding products for people. When it comes to animals, however, the rules are more lax. The companies who package these products couldn't care less about whether or not it's safe for an animal. All they see is the profit gained.

This is also why large chain stores worth millions still house their animals incorrectly. Solid substrate need only be bought once, maybe twice. Loose substrate keeps you coming back for more because you keep having to throw away the soiled stuff.
