We found this little cricket thief stowed away in our cricket shipment

So we are going to keep it is a new exotic pet

very cool. i picked up a mantid egg sack from my local hardware store a while back and set hundreds if not thousands free in my garden.

Very cool, I raised one last year and turned her loose in the fall to breed.

It is a bummer they are such short lived creatures. Anyone have any idea what species this one is?

It is probably a Chinese mantis, they seem to be the most common species.

Haha that's cool!!! I really do hate bugs, but if I found a neat one like that I would probably keep it too... maybe not hold it though.. lol

I have over 12 chinese mantis in rearing containars... none of them looked like full of green. o.o I think this would be Religosa.
