Housed on sand and starved for half of each month the treatment of this gecko reached a new level of sickening for us. So one day she ended up with us. Now shes held in a 20 long in a 90 day quarentine untill she might possibly be housed iwht another adult female later on. "Sweety" is approximately 3 years old and an unknown morph. From the pictures her tail and she herself look fat. But the only reason the tail hasnt shriveled to nothing and she doesnt look like a stick is because her gullet is full of sand. Luckily she is managing to pass it in huge half sand half crap pellets. She was being fed crickets and had a calcium problem, though not captured well in the pictures, the bottom of her mouth so shorter then the top, making it so that some of her front teeth actually stick out infront of the bottom half, also, the jaw is every so slightly slacked. By the way, any ideas on a morph?

She pooed for us today and the poo was the size of a leopard gecko egg, about 1/4 the normal brown color the rest white grainy sand like what she was housed on.

Not sure on morph either, with more lighting it could almost look like a Bell albino?? (I'm SOOO new to this so don't take my word!)

But ITA the snake pic. Wow. I glanced away really quickly at first because I thought it was a graphic gecko pic of something seriously wrong. LOL Until I did a double take and realized it was a snake! hehe

You should take pics of the sand poop. As a testimonial against sand impaction. BTW A LITTLE mineral oil will lube her up and help some of that pesky sand come on out. It will also let everything else flow out to...so be careful. Im not a vet but this has help me once in the past.
