Our third AP rack

Couldn't sleep today, so put together the rack. Figured I'd take some pictures as I progressed. Picture 1-Parts laid out, Picture2-44 screws gives us shelves, Picture 3-Another 32 screws later we have a back, Picture 4-1 heat cable and 4 screws later it is complete. If you get one of these, don't be like me. Invest in a power screwdriver. You'd think I'd learn after the third one.

I really like the racks in your gecko room video that you posted awhile back and i cant seem to find them on the ap website :rolleyes:can you post a link

LOL we just got our first AP rack in earlier this week ourselves and we too did not use a power screwdriver, got some nice blisters on my hands :main_thumbsup:

That's funny!! Their instructions say not to use a power screwdriver, but I do it all the time!! :main_thumbsup: I learned after putting the first one together!! :main_evilgrin:

I think they are concerned that the torque of a power screwdriver could strip the screw heads, and you won't be able to back them out if needed. I wore gloves to help keep my hands from getting too sore. At least I learned something from previous experience.
