Out in the open

Ever since ive gotten the tanks temp correct Geiko no longer goes in his hides. He is always out and about walking around and laying on his cave. Do any of you notice certain ones just like to be out all the time. The only hide he has been going in is his humid hide and thats only for a few.

Yeah, of my 5 leos 2 are always out & active. It doesn't matter what time of day it is, i sometimes wonder if they know they are supposed to be nocturnal!

obviously you have gotten your temperatures right for the tank and he

is alot happier. they seem to be more active when provided the proper

enclosure and whatnots.

Sounds like yor gecko likes to be out and about because of the energy your leo gets fromt the temps:main_laugh:

Ya the slate is really nice for the heat and easy to clean. Only thing that sucks about my setup is the crickets can hide easy

Ya its nice to only have one and spend all your money on it lol. I would love to have some of the racks people have on here.

Same thing happened with my leo, now that i have an UTH and tiles, she hardly goes into the hides, i just assumed she is happier with it now.
