Outdoor Pics

I started out yesterday to gather up a few of my Leos to take outside on the front porch where I had set up my light tent/box to take some pics

I wanted to take advantage of the natural sunlight filtering in the light box
I was doing OK with the first couple of geckos

I got them out of their tanks and into the container that I use to take them out the door and snapped some pics

My problems started when I had the bright idea of taking 2 of my big girls out at the same time and ended up with me chasing both of them around the kitchen

Now-I have to tell you that I have been trying to do some organizing in my house lately and I had a WHOLE BUNCH of stuff piled in the middle of my kitchen floor

Picture me going like a mad woman-literally tossing things around to find my escapes
The good news is that I found both of them rather quickly and proceeded to take them out for their pics

I swear-I can't seem to do anything lately without some level of drama

:main_rolleyes:

BTW-Has anyone noticed that this time of year that their usually sedate Leos move like lightning when out of their tanks?

I sure did !!
LOL

Anyway-Thanks everyone for reading this and
I hope that you enjoy the pics!!

Unfortunately they really didin't turn put well enough to do their colors justice but they sure do show their size well

I'd recommend removing the light tent and use unfiltered natural light. Take advantage of that warm weather for pictures, you'll miss it when it's gone!

Good luck, nice geckos.

Very nice! :)

I know what you mean about slippery geckos too. I've just about dropped my baby twice now. He's a quick little son of a gun. Got my heart beating enough that I'm not taking him out of the tank until he's older and calms down more. LOL

Thanks you all so very much for the compliments

:D

Matthew-I understand what you are saying but as antsy as these guts were that day -there was no way that I was putting them down in an area without some borders to it

As it was-they never stayed still in the light tent

I have arthritis in both hands and can't catch them as fast as I would like if they were to take off running

:(

Nice pics, although I think the lightning is a bit too strong.
