Always wanted to know if it was okay to do this...I'm assuming we just make sure the grass is pesticide free? and hope they dont eat any bugs ? lol
I've seen wire cages that you can get for guinea pigs as an outdoor pen/fence that you could probably use for the gecko. Or I would at least do a photo shot with two people so you don't have to throw the camera down and run after them, or watch as a bird/dog comes by... lol
So "nature-istic.
Great Job Joey.
Have a nature background, with a gecko color,
that nature in the wild would not be willing to make.
Just beautiful! Real pleasure photos.
You have me interested in doing some.
Take care. HJ
I brought all three of mine out onto the grass the other day (one at a time.) The first one who is a little shy and tends to hide a lot was loving it. She took off and was exploring the grass like it was the best thing in the world. I brought her sister out who is much more out going. I set her on the grass and she just stood there and looked at me with a "you have got to be kidding look." I then brought my male out and set him on the grass. He was not amused. I picked him back up and he preceded to bite me several times in the palm (didn't hurt nor did it draw blood) He never bites hard, but its clear he doesn't like doing what ever you are trying to get him to do.
Nice shots, looks like yours like the grass more than mine.
