Ovulation Question

I am just wondering how often everyone checks for ovulation?

I checked every 4-5 days to a week.

I check immediately when I see my female hasn't eaten anything. But other than that probably every week.

Weekly, or this time of year it's whenever I handle them... every few days.

How do you know they are ovulating?

You can tell when you flip them over and there is a little pink dot in about the center of there abdomen.. Its almost like a pink eraser on a pencil..

I check mine every other day when I handle them.

I let my females tell me when they are ready... I've had many ovulating females reject a male, but when they stop eating they're raring to go... So in my case I don't really check for ovulations anymore, but rather go by their feeding habits... Of course it's positive to know if she's really going to produce eggs instead of just being frisky...
