So today is tuesday , and i am already pissed off that I couldnt go to Ozzfest with a few of my friends , becaus eI have to work.
To make matters worse , the god dang water pump on my Pathfinder decides to take dump on me today..argggghhhhhhhh
So im sittin there under my car , and my buddy Tim calls me from Ozzfest and says" Dude , we just got autographs from Atreyu and got to hang out with them for a lil while"
Im like thanks for rubbing it in man . Atreyu is one of my favorite bands
He goes "Dude , I wish you were here , let me see what I can do"
So about 5 minutes later , my phone starts vibrating , and i look at the caller ID and it says "Tim". Im like , ok here we go , him rubbing it in again.
Pick up the phone , some one says" Hey , is this Derek" Im like "yea , this is him"
person goes " Why the hell arent you here hangin out with us"
HOLY FREAKIN HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the drummer of Atreyu is talking to me on the phone!
I was feaking dumbfounded and just didnt know what to say , we through a few questions back and forth for like 45 seconds , but he he had to go finish signing autographs "he said get your ass to our next show , and hope shit works out for me with my car"
UN-Freaking- BELIEVABLE , the #1 voted Drummer in the WORLD , called me on MY phone .
I was having a bad day , and this dude took the time out of signing autographs to call me up and and hopefully make me feel a little better , well like hell it worked.
