Ok so ive had pacman frogs before but it was a while ago,Im looking into getting another one,what do i need for a pacman to be happy and healthy,gravel/flooring,temps,basically whats everything i need for my soon to be pacman frog.

the flooring can be bed-a-beast topped with moist moss or filled with shallow water. if you go for terrain over water make sure to have a water dish large enough to soak in. make sure the bedding stays nice and moist.

temps should be 78-85 during the day and around 75 at night.

make sure there's some sort of shelter to hide under, some plants, log cave, etc.

you probably know from experience that they'll try eat anything that fits in their mouth so make sure there's nothing small enough to eat accidentally in there. a coworker of mine had a charm fall off a bracelet and the pacman almost ate it, i would hope if she did it would have been spat out at least.

Make sure you have a full grown pacman in at least a 20g long.

OK I don't know about anyone else but I don't have a hide log in with either of my pacmans. I tried but I think it scared them because they kept trying to get out and wouldn't go near the hide log and when I took out the hides they stopped trying to get out and just burrowed in the bedding. So I would say if your pacman wont use a hide then to just put plenty of bedding in the cage so they can burrow down in it. I use T-Rex Jungle bed for my bedding I keep it moist by dumping some water in the cage (but not to much) and mist the top of the bedding. Be sure to get any poop out as soon as you see it. If I see any I get it out and still shift threw the bedding every other day to get poop out and to mix up the bedding (So that it doesn't get moldy or any thing like that).Just be careful around your frog while doing this because they can (and most likely will) bite. I have gotten bit by one of mine at least 5 time because I got a little to close Did you get a normal of an albino? I cant wait to see pictures

I forgot to mention only one frog per cage. I have my big one in a 10 gallon tank and my little albino in one of those plastic cages I thinks it a 5 gallon.

no surprise there, lol. the one at my store will eat 2 large crickets at once. she waits in her log cave for the crickets to run in thinking they'll be safe.

I've personally never used a hide for pac-mans, and I have never seen one use a hide when provided with one. I would assume they only use them if kept on paper towel because if they are on Eco Earth all I have seen them do is dig.

:main_no:This morining i woke up and found him walking very funny,so immediatly i took him to the vet,they xrayed him and apparently he was born with out any joints in his hind legs(like no hip bones and stuff) so they reccomended i put him down...i was so sad,so after that we went to the pet store we got him at and explained the whole situation,so the owner was very nice and refunded our purchase price,or we could pick another frog,he had this one pixie frog that was this size of a softball,but he said it wasnt for sale,but he said for me and what i went through that i could have him,i was very happy,i checked him out hes a very active healthy,fat,heavy,beautiful frog.I was very pleased with the kindness of the owner.Im at work with my dad right now but when i get home ill post pics.

Ya i was really bummed out,i really liked the pac-man,they were so cute,especially when he tried to bite me lol.ill be posting pics later on today.
