pakie is shedding but not prob

my pakie shed first time for me tonight and i helped it by giving it a warm bath as my book says ..seems ok i worry about it not being warm enough tank flucuates between 70-90 most of time still eats well . but heres my weird question right now he is standing on his back legs up to his water dish and sleeping yes sleeping is that normal?? It almost looks like it is basking not sure if thats what it is.. I'm super new at this reptile thing so please be patient at all my weird questions..I can't believe i've fallen in love with a lizard lol..and any advice you all want to send my way would so greatly appreciated.thanks again Pakies mom lol

Lol mine did that before too. Just make sure he doesnt drown himself in the water dish. its fine but 70 is too low..
it should be like 85 cold 91 hot
