I found some leos I like labelled as pastels (not mack pastels, line-bred I guess) and saw pictures of the parents which looked very pale and faded. The animals for sale were very vibrant yellow/lavendar and 30-40 grams. I assume they should fade to paler coloration with age if the parents look that way, I just thought for their size they would have already begun the transition. Is there much chance of these geckos staying colorful or will they most likely fade out once they get older?

who knows really, they all change so much so fast and some not for some time. The pastels Ive seen usually wind up a pale yellow with browish spots when older instead of bright yellow with black spots. And there are many variations on the pastels Id guess.
