Could someone please help me out with this? I don't understand what the difference between Patternless and Hypos is, because Patternless (recessive) doesn't have markings on the body, and Super Hypo doesn't have markings on the body. How do you distinguish the difference when you are buying one of these morphs? Like what if it says it is a Super Hypo Tan, but its a mistake and instead it is a Tan Patternless. How do you recognize the difference between those? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Patternless, like you said, is a simple recessive trait. Hypos are polygenic and linebred. Patternless geckos are born whitish/grayish with translucent looking "spots" that eventually disappear. Hypo Tangs are born looking like an orangey normal with dark bands, with the bands disappearing as they get older. The main difference besides genes is color, Pattys remain grayish white and Hypo tangs are orange.
