Should yellow be visible when a patternless hatchling is born or does it start coming through later?

Most patternless babies hatch out light tan with brown, mottled spotting. They start developing their color around 8-10 grams, and it can take a few months to become yellow. Sometimes it takes up to 4-6 months for the mottling to fade completely. Here is a comparison photo of some little 10'ish' gram clutchmates... one is a Patternless and the other is a Patternless LV Albino:
