I think a mountain has that name in switzerland too? The Nascar guy has the extra L in his name, but it's all the same lineage.

I always thought your last name was interesting, Paul.. still not quite sure how it is pronounced though. Which syllable is stressed the most? Can you write it out how it is pronounced? That would be great :)

My mother's maiden name is McDonald, her mom was fitzgerald ;) My paturnal great grandmother was a hammel, my paternal grandmother I will ask my dad.

Seems I have some irish/scottish and german :)

The LOGENDONGER was a joke, my first ever I think?

Stress free.. I don't stress any syllable myself. ahmen-dinger is how we roll in my house.

Poor Michelle is going from Campanell to Almendinger.... She has german in her by proxy.. :main_evilgrin:
