Has anyone else used pea gravel as a substrate? I'm switching out sand for the gravel. It's not real big, but not small enough for them to accidentally eat either.
Anyone else? If so, how has it worked out for you? I want a natural look.
Thx.

Either its under the rocks on the cool side or there isnt one. Some people dont use moist hides and just spray the enclosure occasionally. I imagine those succulents(plants) need to be watered weekly or biweekly. Or the person might just do warm soaks during shedding. Or put a moist hide in during shedding... LOL! So many possibilities. How about just asking the owner of the set up?

Depends on what you consider pea gravel. Everyone has their own view. Some consider river rock to be pea gravel. I would consider river rock to be fine, but I don't know about pea gravel size though.
