Im upgrading the inside of the tank for my leo. I have slate tiles inside atm. Just wondering what people here thought about using a small rock substrate in an area of a tank? Like around aquarium pebble size, maybe a little bigger. My guy eats from my tweezers or a dish (I still dont use sand, though Ive thought about it) Think I have anything to worry about with having pebbles in the tank?

i would personally stay away from any loose substrate including sand, pebbles, etc. if the slate tile is working for you, i would leave it as is.

I'm no expert but i don't think there would be any problem using maybe quarter sized rocks, even if they want to eat it they couldn't.
