Peek-a-View Burrow

I was wondering if anyone uses the T-Rex peek-a-view burrow with their Leos. If so, how do you provide heat? Does the heat from a UTH get through the foam?

Your gecko doesn't need constant heat. If it's too cold it will go bask in the sun...er lamp..if its too warm it will go hide in a nice cool burrow.

edit: as a note since this occurred to me afterwards you should make sure your tank has a warm and cool side.

If its cool, and insulates the heat from my UTH, none of my leos would use it.
I was thinking of getting one, but decided against it for that reason, plus, it would be tough to get your leos out of there if you wanted to.

Also, it's a great place for crickets to hide, where you cant get them.

actually it is really easy to get the leos out of the peek-a-view burrows. i used one for a while til Harley started using it as the bathroom so I took it out to prevent bacteria build up in all those little holes. but the foam part that makes up the top of the tunnel just folds back and there's your leo. super easy.

I took this hide and cut a hole throught the back and the sides of the bottom of the back so he can sit under the foam where it is warmer and he loves to climb around on it. its really easy to cut with a steak knife.
So now the hole goes through the middle to the back and down aqnd out the sides.
He LOVES it.

They are also really good for putting fake plants into haha. (micheals has the best fake plants)
