Penelope Update

They put my sweetheart on two different types of liquid meds for parasites. I tried feeding her again today but she refused so called the vet and told her that Penelope hadn't eaten in three days so she gave me a powder I mix with water to feed to her. Hoping she gets her appetite soon. She has another visit this Thursday.

I hope she gets better! shes very pretty, and she has a good owner though, so i think she will be fine

She popped for the first time in three days! So happy to see poo! Go figure!

Haha, yeah, I think that's one of the weirdest things about being a reptile owner. Always celebrating poop...

yeah parasite meds really takes it out of them sometimes. they normally bounce back though.
you can try making a bug slurry though to feed to her. there is a golden gate recipe on here you can use. I dont have access to all the ingredients so just wiz up bugs in a blender with some vits and calcium and freeze it in an ice cube tray, i have to do it in secret as i don't think my housemates would like me smashing up bugs in the blender phahahaha (i have a dishwasher so it does get cleaned good! and anyway whats a bit of extra protein and fat in their smoothies )

Thx. The vet gave me something called carnivore care been giving it to her since Friday night and today was the first time I tried crix and she ate one. She stalked it! Looked awesome. Don't wanna push her so continuing the slush for now

Sounds like you're doing good I have a feeling that she will get better very quickly in your care!
