Just got home from the vet and not good news . The vet thinks that she has crypto. But since Penelope is still strong and active she has prescribe an antibiotic hoping that it's an infection from the parasites. She lost two grams (from 9 to 7). She has another appointment next Thursday if she shows little to no improvement we will talk about putting her down. . I just don't want her to suffer. I have tried everything and still not giving up on her.

Thank you to everyone for all the awesome advice and encouragement. I will never buy a reptile from a large chain pet store again. I'm going to research and find a reputable breeder.

Sorry to hear that! I hope she gets better! In the future, if you get another gecko, please look into rescues in your area. Many are listed on Petfinder, but not all. I'm sure you can find one to adopt.

Good idea, Buying Reptiles from stores such as Petsmart often are sick or underweight. There are a lot of people who have already tamed, healthy geckos to give away for good prices with cages and all on Craigslist and other community websites. If you have supplements for Vitamins and Calcium they will help boost your geckos ability to fight off the disease. Really sorry to hear about the Crypto.
