Percy's tail is half way off?

I noticed he had been chilling on his top ledge just staring at me for the last day or so which is not his usual spot so tonight I made him some food& was putting it on me finger& watching him lick it off, I just thought he was lonely& missing Amycus (my last crestie that recently passed away) then he turned to walk away and I saw his tail you can see in the picture... I can tell he's hurting too& he get biting at it poor baby I feel so bad... you think it will makeit or just eventually fall off? Anything I can do for him?

No I did not Amycus was 2 young he had his own cage. Percy fell on it again last nite& it fell all the way off any tips 2 help it heal I cleaned if off w/water& put neosporin on it. The picture is my profile pic.
