I've been looking everywhere for just straight normal perlite for egg incubation, well I've tried Home depot and Lowes and the only kind they have is the miracle grow enhanced crap.

I also tried bachmans nursery, and all they have is the stuff already mixed in dirt. I need a exact store that sells what I want!! Some one guide me into the right direction please, thank you!

local garden center or nursery. If you have one that's locally owned they tend to carry some of the "organic" soil brands. These brands typically do not include any form of fertilizer with soil additives such as perlite, pumice, or vermiculite.

We have linders I could probably try. When you say locally owned do you mean no big chain nurserys and more of a privately owned?

Huh...they carry vermiculite too. I've had a hard time finding the large grain vermic. so I've resorted to either doing no substrate or shelling out the $4 for coco coir.

haha I was in the same boat as you. Back then I used the larger grain vermiculite, now I can't seem to find it anywhere.
