What do you guys do for pest control in the house with the geckos around? I want to find something that will not harm them or my other animals.

I found a nasty little bug and it kind of freaked me out...

Any help would be awesome! Thanks!

Hi Brittney-I don't do much with any type of chemicals for unwanted insects This is a leftover habit from years of keeping tropical fish

I try and use fly strips-luckily that is my main problem in the summer
I do use the Front Line Top Spot on the dogs and cats for fleas I and have never had any problems doing so with either fish tanks or lizards

We had a mouse in here this past winter think that it was living behind the stove and it was stupid enough to come out and get caught by one of the cats
Haven't seen an other one of those lately-lol

It goes without saying to be extremely careful with the use of any insecticides in the house and natural repellents-if they work are always a good option
I also make sure that I take a shower if I use any insecticide on my body to keep the skeeters off in the summer

I have read that coffee grounds work to repel ants....

If you are talking things like escaped crickets, there is a fly trap, that is made for crickets and roaches. They are just fly tape on a pad that lies on the floor. You can stick them under furniture which makes them great.
