I was just wondering if there is a phenotype library available for leopard gecko breeders?

I know such a thing exists for angle fish breeders...just curious.

If everyone is willing to put one together, I will enter all the HTML on my website in the guides category. I am putting my site together now.

I dont have alot of time now, you can write the descriptions and I will post them. I can give you credit if you want. I will do some when I get some time. PM them to me and I will edit it if needed.

you should put everyone who helped at the botttom just post their name or something in a list of some sort.

and i had an amazing idea today while i was in the shower.
you know how everyone is always asking what their geckos will make
if they breed them together? well what if their was like a calculator kinda thing
were you select your two geckos and it gives you what it would make.
i thought it would be neat. :main_thumbsup:

I thought about that once. The only problem, there are SOOO many variables to the morphs. If its het for something, that will change it. might work on it just to see what it turns out like.

Tremper has his thing in his book too... but it's really more of an ad than a helpful ... well anything! I think the guide is a great idea... Let me know when you get to RSTAG's and RERS... we've got some killers ;)

If you're just looking for photographic examples and brief descriptions of different morphs, I have a page on my website with several listed. Go to my Leopard Gecko page, and then click on "Guide to Leopard Gecko Morphs & Genetics". I haven't updated it in a while though, so there are a few "newer" morphs missing.

lol. Paul it's all good! I get what you're saying about taking care of the geckos! lol. We only have four now, but I do have over 300 angelfish to take care of. UGG! Lots of water changes and feedings three times a day! lol. I can't wait to cut down on the angelfish a bit and really get into this gecko breeding with Matt. :)

PS- will check out the site. :D
