I got 2 male crested geckos last night. They've been living together their whole life but I'm separating them because I'm not taking any chances. I don't want to come home to a missing tail or dead gecko. The harlequin is Phineas and the yellow one is Ferb. 20130626_152524.jpg 20130626_153139.jpg

Nice looking cresties! I'm surprised they were being housed together and don't have fighting scars or anything.

So I was supposed to get an enclosure from a friend the day after I got them but she couldn't meet up til yesterday and then I didn't see Ferb anywhere and figured he was hiDing. After fixing a broken spot on the enclosure so he can't escape I went to get him and still didn't see him. I took everything out and he isn't in there anywhere. Is it possible that Phineas ate him? I don't know any way he could've escaped. I wish I would have just put him in the critter carrier thing even though it was too small at least he would've been safe til I got the second enclosure. Ive always known males shouldn't be together but since they've been together for a year I Figured a couple more days wouldn't hurt.
