I was thinking about ordering some p.worms online and I don't wanna order them a bunch. Sooo does anybody know how to breed them or is it the same deal as mealworms, and what do you feed them and can you put them in the fridge like meal and wax worms?:main_robin:

They're a bit more complicated to breed than mealworms. They're the larvae of black soldier flies. So you'd need a high enclosure at the very least. I'd just buy a cup of them to see if your leo likes them. I've tried to keep some in my leo's tank but he only bothers with them if I plop one down in front of him.

Easy peasy, but there are a few requirements. You can't breed them inside the house, the adults need lots of room and certain temperatures to breed. You also need to have black soldier flies present in your area. Here in Florida they're everywhere. Well, I never see them, but when there's a food source they come. You pretty much use a composting bin, corrugated cardboard for egglaying, and a food source. I usually use chicken feed, wet, until is starts to ferment. You can google it, there's a lot of designs for bins and self harvesting systems out there.
