I want to try these for our laying females and babies. Any info on them? The petstore said they don't carry them because they never get them in alive... ???? Any special care they require? Thanks!

Phoenix worms rock... my geckos love them, especially the females right after they lay. :)

Phoenix worms are insanely easy....

I keep procrastinating on posting a caresheet here.... I'll do it soon I promise!!!

Basically, they are eating machines.... they eat a ton and then they reach a point where they are ready to morph, they crawl out looking for a clean spot.... they turn into wasp mimics, without mouths... they live long enough to breed and reproduce massive quantities....

With the right conditions I believe the entire cycle takes 6 weeks? It's been some time since I bred them... Stina won't let me!!!

Most of my females love them. I have a couple that don't care for them but they are great and have a much higher content of calcium then meal worms and crickets. Below is the URL for "The Worm Man" this is a great source for them if you cannot get them locally.

I think I tried those, I can't remember. I know I got a worm non of my leos would eat-are these white worms? Whatever it was it didn't move to much.
Mel are you having feeder issues? I'm having mealie issues, and crickets-yuck. I even tried keeping them outside. You should have seen all the anoles lined up at the tank watching them :) For the dubia's how many per day do you feed-for your adults?

We are just looking for something new to try with our females. That's all...help with some extra calcium and try and get some into our babies too.
