Anyone using them as a feeder to their leo's? I thought about trying some on my leo that isn't eating to well.

1) That site is madly over prices
2) Not all geckos like them, most of mine hate them
3) 1/3-3/4 of them often die in shipping
4) Though calcium rich they are small, can climb walls and ceilings, and are very annoying when your gecko decides it doesnt like this expensive snack.

LOL I agree they are a little pricey. I got some while at Daytona to try out. I freaked when I found them crawling on the outsides of the tubs!!!! None of my leos at a single one.

Yeah they aren't cheap! I've found a couple websites that sells them for $5.99 a cup, and that is the cheapest I've found I first seen them at a rep show in raliegh, but didn't buy any. Just thought it wouldn't hurt to try, maybe ill just wait a week until the next show im going to and see if they have any there.

When I bulk ordered my crickets I would find these fuzzy guys and freak out. Now I order and feed them intentionally.

I get them at premium cricket for a lot cheeper then the website posted above. I only used them on hatchlings because the adults don't even seem to see them. all my hatchlings are getting bigger now so I have not ordered any in awhile.

I ordered those and silkworms to feed to my geckos, but they refused everything I have tried other than supers and mealies. Most of minewon't even eat waxies.

Mine all loved them and they were usually eaten before they could even escape. I never saw any crawling around. So no problems here, they're worth a try.

O yeah my crested loved them when they turned into flies :D

how long before they turn into flies? I would love to buy 4 cups at once and save twenty bucks.

Hmm I'm not sure. Its been a while since I've had any. I usually set some aside in a different container and let them alone, checking on them every now and then. Waited till I saw pupas and then checked every couple of days. When there were flies my Crested got them and he had a ball chasing those things around :D.
