I just thought I'd toss this out there for those that may be looking for a good photo editing program (to resize, crop, sharpen, whatever you want to do).
I use GIMP, and it's free.
Here's the link
GIMP
I use this 99% of the time for most of my pictures. It's a very powerful editing program and very similar to photoshop. The main difference is: the different filter programs that are compatible with photoshop are not compatible with GIMP.
I have photoshop elements, Nik Color Efex (latest version), and Onone Photo Frame. But unless I want to add frames, run my pictures through special effects filters, I stick with GIMP because it's easier to use, imo.
Oh, AND it's FREE.
And since I run Kubuntu on my computer, I simply had to only install GIMP.
Photoshop and the others won't run on my Kubuntu machine, I have to use my computer in my bedroom for those programs. And don't get me STARTED on how much I hate Windows because of that crap.:main_laugh:
