So I usually just update pictures of geckos for sale during bin-cleaning times. This involves a clean bin with paper towel and lighting present in the room. I usually don't take the time to do extensive photo shoots with these guys unless requested. Simply because there are a lot, and not everyone even cooperates while being confined in a bin (much less at a photography "set").
But I was feeling bored today and decided to try a different approach to taking pictures of the geckos. Even though the pictures have been altered (except for the super snow's), I tried not to deviate from the gecko's original coloring. Pretty much just brightened and removed dirt and specks that were on the poster board. I think they all turned out nice. Granted, these are only a select few, as most of the geckos were quite active and everyone wanted to explore. I would have taken more, but the brand new batteries died after about 30-45 minutes worth of pictures...it's HARD taking pictures of these active lil buggers lol.
Whenever I get the time, I might get pictures of the others. Although, it might be helpful to have a light tent to help enclose the gecko in lol. Any suggestions? I'm also open to critiques. I do understand that some of them look washed out a bit, but those were taken with flash, and it was difficult to get the colors right on those pictures. Also, I realize that some pictures do need more lighting, as well.
This is my absolute favorite picture out of the bunch....
